Louisiana DOTD Announces Daily Lane Closures on US 171 Northbound and Southbound in Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) has announced daily lane closures on both the northbound and southbound sides of US 171 in Calcasieu Parish.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) announced daily lane closures on US 171 Northbound and Southbound between mileposts 5.1 and 4 beginning May 16 through May 23, 2023, in Calcasieu Parish. These closures will be in effect from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily

The closures are weather permitting.

LADOTD indicated that these closures are necessary for bridge cleaning and painting work. LADOTD also indicated that there is an 11-foot width restriction.
