Louisiana Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested on Numerous Charges

Louisiana – The Shreveport Police Department reported on November 7, 2022, that on October 29, 2022, police were contacted in reference to a report of domestic abuse in the 5900 Block of Union Street. Although the suspected perpetrator was no longer at the scene, officers discovered a victim with a black eye, a fractured tooth, a ruptured eardrum, and a broken arm.

Detectives secured arrest warrants for Jeremon Stewart, 31, during the investigation.

Stewart was wanted for one count of Simple Burglary, one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Serious Bodily Injury, one count of Theft, one count of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and one count of Simple Criminal Damage to Property.

Stewart was arrested on November 7, 2022, on the aforementioned warrants.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
