Lake Charles, Louisiana - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has released a statement regarding the upcoming closure of College Street from Kirkman Street to Louisiana Avenue in Lake Charles. The closure is scheduled to take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting on Monday, June 10, 2024, through Thursday, June 13, 2024.

During the closure period, the Interstate 210 Eastbound ramp at Exit 7 will also be inaccessible to drivers. This closure is essential as it allows crews to carry out resurfacing and striping work along the affected stretch of College Street.
