Louisiana Department of Transportation Announces August 5 I-10 EB Lane Closure for Maintenance Work in Vinton

Vinton, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a lane closure on Interstate 10 Eastbound in Vinton, Louisiana, to facilitate necessary roadway maintenance. The left lane of I-10 EB will be closed from Exit 4 (Mile Marker 4) to Gum Gully Bridge (Mile Marker 5) starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024, and will reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

During this time, motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time as they navigate through the affected area. The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of both the construction crews and the traveling public while maintenance work is being carried out.
