Louisiana Corrections Officer Arrested for Alleged Illicit Acts Involving a Juvenile
Louisiana – According to Louisiana State Police, the LSP Special Victims Unit (LSP SVU) launched an investigation into the computer-aided solicitation of a child in July 2022. It was discovered throughout the inquiry that the suspect was conversing with a minor by sharing sexual photographs on social media platforms.
LSP SVU conducted an operation on July 29, 2022, and identified the suspect as Tracey Naquin, 20, of Plaucheville, Louisiana. Naquin was served with arrest warrants as a result of the investigation and information gathered. The arrest warrants were issued for Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor, Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. After locating Naquin, he was arrested and booked into the Avoyelles Parish Jail.
Naquin was working for the Louisiana Department of Corrections at the Raymond Laborde Correctional Center in Cottonport at the time of his arrest. Naquin was hired in April 2021, and after his arrest, he resigned as Corrections Master Sergeant. Naquin was not on duty when he spoke with the juvenile. The investigation is still open and ongoing. At this time, no additional information is available.
