Louisiana-based Company Helping with Major Chemical Plant Fire in Rockton, Illinois

The Louisiana-based emergency response service US Fire Pump has been contracted to assist in the Rockton, Illinois Chemtool chemical plant fire that broke out in the morning hours of Monday, June 15, 2021.
US Fire Pump is located in Holden, Louisiana, and has sent 27 Industrial Firefighting Specialists, specialized equipment, submersible pumps, high-velocity pumps, water monitors, firefighting extinguishing agents, and more than 10,000 feet of hose. They have also used earth-moving equipment to help minimize the risk of runoff into the Rock River.
President and CEO of US Fire Pump, Chris Ferrara started his career as a fireman before founding Ferrara Fire Apparatus and US Fire Pump and has been in the firefighting industry for over 40 years. US Fire Pump states that they collectively have over 200 years of experience in design, manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing.
