Louisiana Authorities Locate Suspect in Morehouse Parish with Outstanding Burglary Warrant

In an update on March 2, 2023, the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office indicated that Lightsey has been located and taken into custody.

Morehouse Parish, Louisiana – Louisiana authorities are seeking assistance locating a suspect in Morehouse Parish with an outstanding burglary warrant.

The Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO) reported that it is asking for assistance in locating James “Jamie” Raymond Lightsey, 45 years old, 5’5″ tall, 155 lbs on an outstanding warrant.

According to authorities, a warrant has been issued for his arrest for Simple Burglary.

Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about his current whereabouts to contact the MPSO at 318-281-4141 or Crimestoppers at 318-388-CASH(2274).

A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
