Louisiana Authorities Searching for Suspect Involved in Burglary and Theft from Refinery in Westlake

Westlake, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed on November 22, 2022, that it is investigating two burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of August 28 and November 12 at a local refinery in Westlake, Louisiana.

During the investigation, officers discovered that the unknown person entered the property on both occasions and took over $25,000 in copper wire. The perpetrator has a duck tattoo on his right forearm and is described as a white male.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help in identifying the culprit. If you have any information or can identify the suspect in these photos, contact the CPSO at 337-439-2222 or Crime Stoppers at 337-491-3605.

Detective John Coffman of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is the case’s principal investigator.

A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
