Louisiana Authorities Execute Search Warrant Resulting in Multiple Narcotics Arrests and the Seizure of $23K in Drugs and Evidence

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office reported on November 22, 2022, that on November 17, detectives with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team), with the assistance of the CPSO ACT-Team, executed a warrant at the home of Elliot J. Allison, 55, 3227 Aster Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana after a two-month narcotics investigation revealed drug activity at the home. During the inquiry, officers discovered Allison had allegedly distributed approximately 46 grams of cocaine from his home.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives discovered Allison, Jacquetta N. Brown, 35, of Lake Charles, and two other men at the residence. Once inside, investigators seized 1.2 pounds of powder cocaine, 17.22 grams of crack cocaine, 5 dosage units of hydrocodone, 2.2 pounds of marijuana, 36.96 grams of synthetic marijuana, crack cocaine manufacturing equipment, and $6,493. The entire estimated street value of the illegal narcotics collected is around $23,000.

Allison and Brown were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. They are charged with possession of CDS I with intent to distribute (marijuana); possession of CDS I with intent to distribute (synthetic marijuana); possession of CDS II with intent to distribute (cocaine); possession of CDS II with intent to distribute (crack cocaine); possession of CDS II (hydrocodone); operation of a clandestine laboratory; possession of drug paraphernalia; and money laundering transactions involving criminal proceeds. Allison is also charged with four counts of CDS II distribution, with a total bond of $312,000. Judge Kendrick Guidry set Brown's bond at $31,500.

The two other males found at the house were detained and released on a misdemeanor summons, one for possession of CDS I (synthetic marijuana) and the other for possession of drug paraphernalia.
During the initial investigation, officers discovered Allison was on parole for weapon and drug-related offenses until July 2027. Brown was also found to be on probation for drug-related crimes until October 2024.

The Combined Anti-Drug Task Force is a collaborative initiative made of law enforcement officials from local, state, and federal agencies focused on ending the trafficking of illegal substances in Calcasieu Parish.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
