Breaux Bridge, Louisiana – In February 2025, agents from the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division collaborated with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) to investigate alleged illegal activities at a business known as Henderson Hwy One Stop, located on Louisiana Highway 352 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. The investigation was prompted by tips regarding unlawful gaming and other violations at the establishment.

On February 26, 2025, a joint operation was executed, culminating in the issuance of a search warrant for the premises. During the operation, law enforcement officials seized a substantial amount of illegal products, including 716 vaping items, 154 unauthorized cannabidiol (CBD) products, 106 nitrous oxide cartridges, and eight illegal gaming devices. Vaping products are electronic devices that allow users to inhale vaporized substances, while CBD is a compound derived from cannabis.

The seized nitrous oxide cartridges, commonly used for a variety of purposes, including food preparation and recreational inhalation, raise concerns due to their potential for misuse. The illegal gaming devices are also a focal point of the investigation, as they can undermine state regulations.

As the investigation continues, law enforcement officials anticipate further developments, including potential arrests related to the unlawful activities uncovered during the operation.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
