Louisiana Authorities Asking for Help Locating Two Men Suspected of Possessing Multiple Stolen Vehicles

Authorities in Louisiana report that arrest warrants have been issued for two men in Louisiana suspected of illegally possessing stolen vehicles.

According to investigators with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, two Keithville, Louisiana men have been issued arrest warrants for possessing automobiles taken from a storage facility in the 7400 block of West Bert Kouns.

Twenty-year-old Nathan Martin and twenty-three-year-old Derick Ferguson II, both of Keithville, Louisiana, are suspected of possessing a stolen 2023 Chevrolet Camaro SS and a stolen 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack 392. Martin is also suspected of possessing a blue 2019 Dodge Charger that was reported stolen in Halton City, Texas.

On November 21, just before 1 a.m., a group broke into the storage yard, used a truck from the yard to force open an exit gate, and stole four vehicles. Caddo Sheriff’s investigators responded to an apartment complex in the 5400 block of Financial Plaza around 3:40 p.m., where they recovered a gray Camaro. On November 23, shortly after 4 p.m., Caddo Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a residence in the 6000 block of Alvin York Lane, where a gray Charger was recovered. An inquiry found that the Charger that was stolen in Texas was located at the same house. According to Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Justin Sundquist, the evidence also indicated that Martin and Ferguson II possessed the automobiles and had them wrapped in a different color. In the first week of December, the 2019 blue Charger was discovered in Shreveport, Louisiana, between the intersection of Mansfield Road and Colquitt Road.

Martin was issued arrest warrants in Caddo Parish for three counts of illegal possession of stolen things, while Ferguson II was issued warrants for two counts of illegal possession of stolen things. The investigation will continue, and additional suspects in possession of stolen automobiles are being sought.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nathan Martin or Derick Ferguson II to call the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 675-2170 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 675-7373.

A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
