Louisiana Authorities Asking for Help Locating Suspect in an October 27 Stabbing

Louisiana – On November 2, 2022, St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that detectives are seeking assistance from the public in locating Don Lewis, 50, of LaPlace, Louisiana.

Authorities reported that on Thursday, October 27, 2022, deputies responded to the area of Marjorie Court in reference to a subject who was stabbed. The victim stated that Lewis stabbed him in the back during an altercation with a knife.

Detectives secured an arrest warrant for Lewis for aggravated second-degree battery based on the investigation. Lewis’ last known address in LaPlace, Louisiana was in the 800 Block of Marjorie Court. Lewis reportedly has a lengthy criminal record, including armed robbery and firearms offenses.
