Louisiana Authorities Asking for Help Locating Missing-Runaway 17-Year-Old Female

Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – Louisiana Authorities are asking for help locating a missing-runaway 17-year-old female.

On March 21, 2023, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet said that he is seeking the public’s help in identifying a missing 17-year-old female from Houma, Louisiana, Merlin Iraheta Alvarado, who left her home without permission.

Sheriff Soignet reported that the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit is actively investigating the teen’s location. Merlin was living with her uncle in Houma, Louisiana, who was the one who reported her missing to authorities.

Merlin has also been listed as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), according to authorities.

Merlin has black/brown hair and brown eyes, but her height and weight are not known. Her last known outfit was a grey jacket and white shorts.
