Louisiana Authorities Asking for Help Identifying Suspect in Westlake Business Burglary

Westlake, Louisiana – On June 28, 2022, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that they are investigating a burglary at a Westlake, Louisiana business that occurred between June 10 and June 12. Detectives learned during the investigation that the unknown suspect broke into a storage building at a business on Hwy 90 in Westlake. The company was robbed of two portable generators, three water pumps, and a flat-screen television.

The suspect was driving a grey four-door GMC Yukon that had front-end damage from driving through the entrance gate. The suspect appears to be a black male of medium build, wearing a white muscle shirt and dark colored pants.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this burglary. If you have any information or can identify the suspect in these photos, please contact the CPSO at 337-491-3605 or Crimestoppers at 337-439-2222.

The case is being investigated by Detective Joshua Couch of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

An arrest indicates that there is probable cause to believe the subject committed the alleged offense. Until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, a person is presumed innocent.
