Louisiana Authorities Asking For Help Identifying Suspect in Vehicle-Scooter Hit-and-Run Crash in Alexandria

Alexandria, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for assistance to identify the suspect involved in a vehicle-scooter hit-and-run crash in Alexandria.

The Alexandria Police Department reported on June 6, 2023, that police were summoned to the intersection of Texas Avenue and Monroe Street on Saturday, June 3, in connection to a hit-and-run traffic crash. A witness recounts a dark or gray vehicle, probably an SUV, striking a person using a motorized scooter. The scooter’s operator was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
