Louisiana Authorities Asking for Assistance From the Public in Unsolved 2022 Homicide in Terrebonne Parish
Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – Louisiana authorities are asking for assistance from the public in an unsolved 2022 homicide in Terrebonne Parish.
Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in a 2022 homicide that occurred in the Johnson Ridge neighborhood of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
On April 5, 2022, shortly before 8:30 p.m., the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) Patrol Division responded to Livas Lane in reference to reports of a female who had been shot multiple times. When TPSO Patrol Deputies got to the site, they discovered the body of a female who had died from several gunshot wounds. When detectives got on the scene, they identified the victim as 28-year-old Selena Marquez of Houma, Louisiana.
Sheriff Tim Soignet acknowledged that TPSO Detectives have been regularly working on this crime and are releasing information about the investigation again in the hopes of renewing public attention.
