Louisiana Authorities Arrest 15 Suspects in Major Drug Trafficking Bust

Claiborne Parish, Louisiana – In a significant operation against drug trafficking, the Louisiana State Police (LSP) Bossier Field Office, in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies, apprehended 15 individuals suspected to be linked to an active drug trafficking organization in Claiborne Parish. This operation, which commenced in May 2024, culminated in a series of search warrants executed on January 31, 2025.

The investigation began after detectives identified a network of illegal drug activities within the region. As the inquiry deepened, they pinpointed numerous suspects and residences connected to the organization. The LSP’s Bureau of Investigations, along with partners including the Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office, Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, and others, worked together to dismantle this network.

During the coordinated operation, law enforcement executed search warrants at multiple locations, leading to the arrest of 15 suspects. The individuals arrested face a variety of charges, primarily related to racketeering, which involves conducting or participating in illegal enterprises. Notably, John Michael Jackson, 36, is charged with attempted first-degree murder of a peace officer after allegedly firing at officers during his apprehension. He is also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

  • Ashley Morgan (39) – active Claiborne Parish SO warrant
  • Fernanado B. Grider (59) – active Claiborne Parish SO warrant
  • Falante Pierre Hill (41) – active Claiborne Parish SO warrant
  • Jaime R. Rocket (45) – active Claiborne Parish SO warrant

As part of the operation, authorities confiscated seven firearms, approximately $5,000 in cash, over 20 grams of crack cocaine, more than eight pounds of marijuana, and over a pound of methamphetamine. These seizures reflect the serious nature of the organization’s activities and underline the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the region.

The investigation remains active, with law enforcement officials anticipating additional arrests as they continue to gather information and assess the extent of the drug trafficking operation.
