Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry has filed a suit challenging the vaccine mandate for federal contractors.
Baton Rouge, LA – Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry has filed a lawsuit against President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors, claiming that it is misguided and unconstitutional. In a video he uploaded to the file-sharing service Dropbox available by following this link, Louisiana Attorney General Landry announced that Mississippi and Indiana are joining him in challenging the legality of Biden’s mandate.
“As the chief legal officer of Louisiana, I am taking action to prevent the government from forcing Louisiana citizens to inject something into their bodies,” said Attorney General Landry. “I have already defeated the Biden Administration in court over issues of illegal immigration and domestic energy; and now, I am working to win this lawsuit on the issue of personal liberty.”
Attorney General Landry indicated that he believes that medical decisions should be decided by patients and doctors, not by the government and that the government should not impose them. Attorney General Landry further underlines that he believes that Biden’s policies will have severe ramifications for Louisiana, including billions of dollars in lost revenue.
