Shreveport, LA - A Shreveport man faces multiple serious charges following his arrest earlier this week in a joint law enforcement operation.

Nicholas Steiner, 36, of Shreveport, Louisiana was taken into custody on Dee Street in Shreveport on April 9, 2025, following an investigation that began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Agents with Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill's Bureau of Investigation charged Steiner with 13 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13, a violation of Louisiana Revised Statute 14.81.1. Additionally, he faces two counts of sexual abuse of animals under LA R.S. 14:89.3.

The arrest stemmed from a collaborative effort between the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, and the U.S. Marshal's Task Force.

Following his arrest, Steiner was booked into the Caddo Parish Correctional Center, where he is reportedly being held without bond.

Authorities indicated that the investigation remains ongoing, suggesting that additional information or charges could emerge as investigators continue their work.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
