Lake Chares, Louisiana – In August 2023, detectives from the Special Victims Unit of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office collaborated with Homeland Security Investigations and the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. They were alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child sexual abuse material saved on a Gmail account.

The material was allegedly found on an account linked to Stuart R. Taylor, 57, from Lake Charles, Louisiana during the investigation. He was arrested on May 30 and taken to Calcasieu Correctional Center charged with possessing child pornography. Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $100,000.

Detective Eric Perry from the CPSO Special Victims Unit is in charge of investigating this case.
