Lane Shift in Sulphur in Construction Area on Maplewood Drive Between Palermo Drive and Crystal Lane
Sulphur, Louisiana - On October 29, 2022, the Sulphur Police Department announced that the contractor for the Maplewood Drive overlay project has shifted the travel lanes from the eastbound lanes to the westbound lanes between Palermo Drive and Crystal Lane.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and make sure they are traveling in the appropriate lane. Drivers are also urged to use caution coming off of side streets and parking lots and turn into the correct lane for the direction they wish to proceed.
