Sulphur, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced plans for alternating intermittent lane closures on LA 108 at its intersection with LA 27 (S. Beglis Parkway) in Sulphur. The closures will take place from Monday, September 23, 2024, to Friday, September 27, 2024.

From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, drivers can expect intermittent lane closures as crews work to install new signal equipment at the intersection. This work is necessary to improve the safety and efficiency of the intersection, which is a critical artery for local traffic.

The work will involve the installation of new signal equipment.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and expect delays during the closure periods. The DOTD recommends checking for updates on traffic conditions before embarking on their journey.
