Lane Closures on I-10 and US 171 in Lake Charles Starting May 24

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, May 24, 2021, there will be nighttime closures on I-10 between Enterprise Boulevard to the east of Shattuck Street and on US 171 between Griffin Street and the I-10 overpass in Calcasieu Parish.
The closure schedule is as follows:
- Monday, May 24 at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, May 25, at 5 a.m. – I-10 westbound double left lane closure
- Monday, May 24, at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, May 25, at 5 a.m. – I-10 eastbound left lane closure
- Tuesday, May 25, at 8 p.m. until Wednesday, May 26, at 5 a.m. – I-10 westbound double right lane closure
- Tuesday, May 25, at 8 p.m. until Wednesday, May 26, at 5 a.m. – I-10 eastbound left lane closure
- Wednesday, May 26, at 8 p.m. until Thursday, May 27, at 5 a.m. – US 171 southbound right lane closure.
These closures will allow crews to remove and install new interstate overhead truss signs on I-10 at Enterprise Bouvlad and US 171 at I-10 and related work. All work is weather-dependent.
