Lane Closures in Both Directions on I-210 Prien Lake Bridge Starting August 5

Published August 4, 2021

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the eastbound and westbound inside lanes on the I-210 Prien Lake Bridge will be closed daily, starting Thursday, August 5 to Saturday, August 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The closures will allow the contractor to remove light poles. All dates and work are weather permitting.

A project is in development to replace the lighting system and is expected to be complete in 2022. The light poles were damaged during Hurricane Laura in 2020.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
