Lake Charles Unveils The Great Pumpkin Trail for Halloween

Lake Charles, Louisiana - Lake Charles is gearing up for the spookiest time of the year with the debut of The Great Pumpkin Trail, a brand-new event set to take place at Tuten Park. Organized by the City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services through the Partners in Parks Initiative, this event promises to offer a unique and fun experience for families.

Scheduled to open on Friday, October 25, The Great Pumpkin Trail will feature over 25 fall-themed displays along the back trails of Tuten Park, located at 3801 Nelson Road. The event will provide an excellent opportunity for families to capture memorable fall photos, with the trail open daily from 9 am to 7 pm until Sunday, October 27.

The event's displays are a collaborative effort between the City of Lake Charles Department of Community Services staff and several local businesses and organizations. Visitors can expect to see a variety of creative and festive displays, showcasing the community's spirit and creativity.

The event is free and open to the public, making it an ideal activity for families and individuals of all ages. With the beautiful fall backdrop of Tuten Park, attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the special moments.
