Lake Charles, Louisiana – The City of Lake Charles has announced that it will be hosting a CEO Roundtable on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. The event, which will take place from noon to 1 pm, will feature Trey Litel, the Founder of Bayou Rum and CEO of Litel Ventures, LLC.

The CEO Roundtable will be held at the Lake Charles City Council Chambers, located at 326 Pujo St. This is a unique opportunity for local entrepreneurs, business professionals, and aspiring individuals to hear from one of Lake Charles’ own success stories.

Trey Litel, a native of Lake Charles, co-founded Bayou Rum in 2011 alongside his brother Tim and business partner Skip Cortese. Their innovative idea to distill rum using Louisiana sugar cane has proven to be a remarkable success. The distillery and event center continues to thrive, attracting visitors from near and far.

After the success of Bayou Rum, Trey Litel now leads Litel Ventures, LLC, where he focuses on real estate and angel investing.
