Lake Charles Teenager Arrested for Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles

From Louisiana State Police – A Lake Charles teen was arrested for being in possession of and uploading child sexual abuse images and videos.
On January 30, 2020, Troopers arrested 18-year-old Garrett O’Quain of Lake Charles. After a review of the evidence, it was determined that O’Quain was in possession of images and videos of child sex abuse. During questioning, O’Quain admitted to being in possession and downloading the images and videos. He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on a warrant charging him with 376 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. His bond was set at $50,000.00.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) contacted Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division (LSP-CID) Region II in reference to an individual uploading pornography involving juveniles.
The Louisiana State Police maintains close partnerships with other law enforcement agencies and will continue to work to locate and arrest those individuals who choose to participate in the crime of child pornography.
