Lake Charles, Louisiana – The City of Lake Charles is gearing up for a fun-filled month of September with four themed skate nights at the Lake Charles Event Center Coliseum. Following requests from the public, the city has organized three special nights for families and one night exclusively for adults aged 18 and above.
The first event, Disco Night, will take place on Sunday, September 8, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and is designed as a family night. This will be followed by Frightful Friday on September 13, another family night, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. However, please note that toy weapons and masks will not be permitted at this event.
On Thursday, September 19, the Coliseum will transform into a Y2K-themed party, welcoming adults aged 18 and above from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The final event, a Glow Party, will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and is also a family night.
All events will be held inside the Coliseum at the Lake Charles Event Center, and attendees are encouraged to dress up in costumes to match the theme of the night. Toy weapons and masks will not be permitted. The entry fee to skate is $5 per person.
Partners in Parks, in collaboration with KBYS – McNeese Radio, will bring the tunes to skate to, ensuring a fun and lively atmosphere at each event.
