Lake Charles, Louisiana - The City of Lake Charles Planning Department has organized a series of public meetings during the week of December 4, 2023, to discuss proposed changes to the city's land use policies and zoning maps. The meetings are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, December 4, 2023: JD Clifton Recreation Center (2415 Gieffers St.) from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, December 5, 2023: Bellard Recreation Center (2808 Hillcrest Dr.) from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, December 7, 2023: College Oaks Recreation Center (3518 Ernest St.) from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Starting on Monday, December 11, the proposed updates will be available for public viewing on the 7th Floor of City Hall (326 Pujo St.), online at www.cityoflakecharles.com/zoning, and at the Central Library (301 W.
