Lake Charles Partners in Parks Presents Free Christmas Music Event

Lake Charles, Louisiana - The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative is collaborating with Historic City Hall Arts and Cultural Center and Upscale Productions to present a special holiday Music in the Park event. This free celebration, titled the Nellie Lutcher Christmas Carol Extraordinaire, will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Nellie Lutcher Memorial Park, located at 702 Enterprise Blvd.

Scheduled to run from 4-6 pm, the event will feature live jazz music from two talented performers. The Street Side Jazz Band will kick off the festivities from 4-5 pm, followed by a performance from Jairus Daigle from 5-6 pm. The community is encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the music in a festive atmosphere.

This family-friendly event is open to the public and aims to bring the community together to celebrate the holiday season. However, for the comfort and safety of all attendees, pets will not be allowed inside the park.

Residents of Lake Charles and surrounding areas are invited to join in the merriment and enjoy an afternoon of holiday music and cheer. The event is free of charge, making it accessible to all who wish to attend. With its scenic park setting and lively jazz performances, the Nellie Lutcher Christmas Carol Extraordinaire promises to be a fun and entertaining experience for all ages.
