Lake Charles, Louisiana - Lake Charles residents seeking traditional New Year's Eve fireworks displays will need to look elsewhere to ring in 2025. As usual, there will be no municipal pyrotechnic shows for December 31.

Lake Charles doesn't typically have a New Year's Eve fireworks show and hasn't had one in recent history. The City of Lake Charles maintains a focused schedule of two major fireworks displays annually: the Independence Day celebration on July 4th and the Light Up the Lake festival in late November.
