Lake Charles, Louisiana – Calin T. Dupuis, a 28-year-old resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana was convicted on March 26 for the crime of First Degree Rape.
In 2022, Dupuis coerced a 6-year-old victim to touch his genitalia and put his genitalia in the victim’s mouth. He also inappropriately touched the young victim and warned her that he would harm her if she told anyone.
Dupuis is currently in custody with no possibility of bail. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 20, 2024, by Judge Clayton Davis. The conviction requires a mandatory sentence of Life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
