Lake Charles, Louisiana – On February 28th, Kevin E. Williams, a 26-year-old resident of Lake Charles, was found guilty of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice related to the fatal shooting of a victim during a planned armed robbery. The verdict was reached following a trial that revealed the details of the incident that occurred in 2023.
According to prosecutors, Williams orchestrated the robbery with the intent to steal from the victim. When the two men met, the situation escalated, resulting in Williams shooting the victim in the head, which ultimately led to the victim’s death.
