Lake Charles, Louisiana - A 20-year-old Lake Charles man faces multiple charges related to child sexual abuse material following a months-long investigation by Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office detectives.
Cedric Borel Jr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was arrested on August 28 and charged with three counts of pornography involving juvenile. He is currently being held at the Calcasieu Correctional Center on a $120,000 bond set by Judge Tony Fazzio.
The investigation began on May 12 when detectives from the sheriff's office Special Victim Unit received a complaint from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The detectives, who are members of the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, discovered that Borel was in possession of child sexual abuse material during their investigation.
