Lake Charles Man Arrested for 3rd Degree Rape and Sexual Battery

Lake Charles, LA – According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, on February 17, 2022, CPSO deputies received a complaint about Bobby R. Treaster, 46, of Lake Charles, LA, engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with a girl under the age of 15. The victim informed detectives that the incidents occurred between January 2021 and October 2021.

Treaster was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on February 18, 2022, after detectives spoke with him. He was charged with seven counts of sexual battery and three counts of third-degree rape. His bond was set at $510,000 by Judge Tony Fazzio.

Detective Alexander Vincent of the CPSO is the case’s lead investigator.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
