Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative and Acadian Ambulance Host Community Heroes Workshop Series
Lake Charles, Louisiana - The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative has joined forces with Acadian Ambulance to present a Creating Community Heroes Workshop Series this April. This free workshop series aims to empower individuals with life-saving skills and provide insights into career opportunities within the emergency medical services field.
The series will consist of four workshops, each starting at 6 pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 2 – Cpl Donald Ray Stevens Community Center (1619 Cessford St.)
- Tuesday, April 9 – Bellard Recreation Center (2808 Hillcrest Dr.)
- Tuesday, April 16 – Henry Heights Community Center (801 E. School St.)
- Tuesday, April 23 – College Oaks Recreation Center (3518 Ernest St.)
Participants can expect to receive CPR training, learn about career opportunities in the field of emergency medical services, and gain insights into Acadian's Explorer Program, as well as tuition information.
This event is open to the public and provides a valuable opportunity for community members to acquire life-saving skills and explore potential career paths in the medical field.
