Lake Charles Hit-and-Run: Motorcycle Rider Severely Injured, Deputies Seek Witnesses

Lake Charles, Louisiana - At around 6:50 a.m. on April 16, deputies from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office were sent to the intersection of Red Davis McCollister Road and Common Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana following a reported collision.

At the beginning of the investigation, authorities were informed that an older white four-door car was headed east on Red Davis McCollister Road, and it forced a motorcycle off the road. As a result, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle, sustaining severe injuries.

Deputies have been unable to find the vehicle and are seeking help from the public. Anyone with any details about the crash is asked to contact CPSO at 337-491-3605.

Cpl. Kerrick Gabrial, Jr. from CPSO is in charge of investigating this case.
