Lake Charles Hit and Run Investigation Underway in Calcasieu Parish: Evidence Left at Scene, CPSO Seeks Information

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a hit-and-run incident that took place last Friday, April 26, on You Winn Road near John Bell Road in Lake Charles, Louisiana. According to reports, the incident involved a truck and a small SUV, with the truck allegedly crossing the center line and colliding with the SUV that was traveling in the opposite direction.

Authorities have identified the suspect’s vehicle as a gray Ford F150, which is expected to have damage on its front driver side as a result of the collision. The impact of the crash left significant evidence at the scene accroding to CPSO.

In an effort to gather more information and leads regarding this case, detectives from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant details to come forward. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
