Lake Charles Early Morning Disturbance Leaves Man and Dog Dead, Investigation Ongoing by Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office

Lake Charles, Louisiana - At approximately 4:30 a.m. on January 1, deputies from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office were called to a mobile home park off Highway 90 E. in Lake Charles, Louisiana regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered a man and a dog dead inside the residence.

The initial findings suggest that this may be a domestic-related incident, and detectives have apprehended a person of interest.
