Lake Charles, Louisiana - Lake Charles motorists are advised to plan their commute accordingly as roadwork will be taking place on West Prien Lake Road Eastbound. The closure is scheduled to start on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 5:00 AM and will last until Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

The affected area will be the right lane of West Prien Lake Road Eastbound, with a partial closure extending from approximately 0.07 miles east of Landfair Street to around 0.10 miles west of Creole Street.

This roadwork is for utility work in the area and aims to improve infrastructure in the area. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes or allow for extra travel time during the specified closure period.
