Lake Charles and Westlake: I-210 Bridge Shut Down Due to Collisions Caused by Winter Weather

Lake Charles, Louisiana - At approximately 6 pm on January 15, 2024, the Lake Charles Police Department announced that LCPD, Westlake Police, and Sulphur Police were shutting down the I-210 Bridge between Westlake and Lake Charles in both directions. The closure is due to multiple crashes caused by the Winter weather conditions Southwest Louisiana is experiencing.

No estimated reopening time was given at the time this was published.
