On March 14, Panorama Music House will host the band Choke featuring Vection at 9:00 PM. This performance is part of a lively evening that includes multiple art exhibits across the area. Notably, the 1911 Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center will feature two opening receptions: “Bloom Where You’re Planted” and an exhibition by Cody Broussard, both running from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Additionally, the center will showcase several art exhibitions, including the CPSB Student Art Exhibit and the McNeese Student Art Association Showcase, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
For those seeking outdoor activities, Yoga by the Lake will offer a free community flow session at Mantra Yoga Center from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM. Later in the evening, Ray’s Lounge will host River Katz from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, followed by a lively music scene at Cajun’s Wharf Grill & Bar featuring local DJs until 2:00 AM.
March 15 will bring more festivities, including the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Crying Eagle Brewing Company, which will run from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The DeQuincy Spring Market will occur at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Music enthusiasts can enjoy performances by Paul Piazza at Luna Bar & Grill Downtown and DJ ROKST at Ray’s Lounge, both scheduled for later in the evening.
