Lake Charles, Louisiana – Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana are set to host a variety of events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 8-10, offering something for everyone. The weekend will feature live music performances, art exhibitions, and community activities.
On Friday, November 8, the Taylor Morgan Duo will perform at Crying Eagle Brewing from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Logan Romero will take the stage at Panorama Music House at the same time. Paul Piazza will also be performing at Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The following day, Saturday, November 9, will see the Boot Fest event take place in downtown Lake Charles and Bux Kajun Korner. The festival will run from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On the same day, the Charlestown Farmers Market will be held behind the 1911 Historic City Hall from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
On Sunday, November 10, the Lake Charles Public Library will host various programs for adults, children, and teens. The events will take place at different locations and times throughout the day. Mark Portier will perform live music at Crying Eagle Brewing from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Additionally, several art exhibitions will be on display throughout the weekend. The “Women Who Served” exhibit presented by the Mayor’s Armed Forces Commission will be open at the 1911 Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The exhibit showcases the contributions of women in the armed forces.
The Gallery by the Lake will feature two exhibitions: “Banks of the Sabie” featuring Ryan Courville and “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” Photography Exhibition. Both exhibitions will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Other events, such as the Pajama Jam Open Mic at Panorama Music House and the Sunday Jazz Brunch at Luna Bar & Grill, will take place on Sunday, November 10.
