LADOTD Statewide Road Projects Bid Results Released for October 2018
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that 13 projects around the state were let on October 10, 2018. Thirteen contractors presented bids totaling $32 million.
“We’re pleased to be able to advance 13 new projects around the state,” said DOTD Secretary Shawn D. Wilson, Ph.D. “These projects include much-needed bridge repairs, including the rehabilitation of the 85-year-old Long-Allen Bridge connecting Shreveport and Bossier City. While a lack of funding makes it difficult for us to build new infrastructure, the responsible thing to do is repair and improve our existing infrastructure as best we can.”
