LA 27 Southbound near Carlyss, Louisiana to Experience Intermittent Lane Closure for Roadwork

Carlyss, Louisiana – Drivers on LA 27 South near Carlyss, Louisiana should be aware of an upcoming roadwork project that will result in an intermittent lane closure. The closure will affect the right lane and will be in effect from Monday, December 18, 2023, to Friday, December 22, 2023.

The roadwork project is scheduled to take place between the hours of 8:15 AM and 2:45 PM daily, Monday through Friday. During these times, drivers should anticipate delays and plan their travel accordingly. The closure will start at E Cotton Vincent Road and end approximately 0.24 miles north of LA 108.

This partial closure is necessary to facilitate necessary repairs and improvements to the road surface. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is committed to maintaining the safety and integrity of the state’s roadways, and this roadwork project is part of that ongoing effort.
