Cameron Parish, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced that a section of LA 27 North will undergo alternating lane closures on Thursday, July 11, 2024. The affected area spans from Mile Post 68 to Mile Post 68.25, specifically near the Kelso Bayou Bridge.

The lane closures, scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., are necessary to facilitate shoulder build-up work by DOTD maintenance crews. This maintenance is a follow-up to recent resurfacing operations on LA 27, which aimed to improve the road’s surface and overall safety.
