Louisiana State Police reported that LA108 (Cities Service Hwy.) and LA 1133 have reopened after a chemical spill temporarily closed the roadway.

Westlake, Louisiana – On June 10, 2022, at 12:15 pm, Louisiana State Police reported that LA 108 (Cities Services Hwy) at Swisco Road and at LA 1133 in Westlake, Louisiana is currently closed as a precaution due to a chemical spill at the facility. No off site impact is being reported and emergency personnel will continue to monitor the area. Crews are enroute to the facility for cleanup.
There is no estimated time of when the roadway will be reopened. Please avoid the area.
