Join the Fight Against Human Trafficking: Use Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line and App to Report Suspected Human Trafficking

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - January has been designated as National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. To combat human trafficking in our region, it is important to report any suspicions of it.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office recommends reaching out to the SWLA Human Trafficking Task Force tip line at (337) 491-SWLA (7952) to easily and anonymously report any suspected human trafficking activities. The tip line is staffed 24/7 by deputies in the CPSO Real Time Crime Center who have received specialized training in handling calls related to human trafficking.

Upon receiving the information, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that the tip is thoroughly investigated.

Additionally, you can submit an anonymous tip through the CloseWatch Calcasieu app by selecting human trafficking as the type of tip. This app can be downloaded from your phone's App Store. Follow this link for further details about the app and its functionality.
