Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Iowa Rabbit Festival, an annual event that started in 1986, has become one of the largest and most anticipated events in Southwest Louisiana. The Iowa Rabbit Festival takes place at the Burton Coliseum Complex in Lake Charles.

One of the key aspects that sets the Iowa Rabbit Festival apart is its dedication to giving back to the community. Over the years, the festival has raised funds that are donated to various civic, fraternal, and school organizations in the Iowa, Louisiana community. These organizations, comprised of dedicated volunteers, play an instrumental role in making the festival a resounding success.

Notably, the Iowa Rabbit Festival also extends its generosity to deserving graduating seniors from Iowa High School. By providing college scholarships, the festival aims to support and empower these students as they embark on their higher education journey.
