Iowa Police Department Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Hit-and-Run Driver

Iowa, Louisiana - Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding a hit-and-run incident that occurred on October 25, 2024. The Iowa Police Department is investigating the incident, which involved a silver GMC pickup truck that collided with another vehicle at the intersection of North Thomson and Miller Avenue.

According to eyewitnesses, the silver GMC pickup truck turned onto West Miller Avenue and continued driving west after the crash. Detectives have obtained a photograph of the suspect vehicle, which they hope will aid in identifying the driver responsible for the incident.

The Iowa Police Department is now seeking assistance from the public to locate the suspect vehicle and its driver. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the department at (337) 582-3636. Those who wish to remain anonymous can do so, as the department is committed to ensuring the confidentiality of all tips.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
